Great location. Good value. Positive: The location was great! A very short walk to a public beach with great sand and pretty clean as far as beaches go. The hot tub was great in the evenings. The elevator, although it had its attitudes, was a benefit for sure! Negative: Besides the master bed, the other three beds were too firm. All the guests complained about them and several opted to sleep on the couch.

My family and pups had an amazing stay! The house is clean, the location is amazing, and the host was very responsive to any of our needs. I can't wait to come back!

We loved staying at the Seadog. It’s a stones throw to the beach and was conveniently located to nearby shops. The property was clean and ready upon our arrival. Abby was fantastic with her response time and made sure we were taken care of during our stay.

The property was in the perfect location, directly across from beach access. My siblings and I had a wonderful week in Topsail, and would stay here again. The fridge had issues but the host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to fix the situation!

Our stay from June 6 to June 13, 2026 was a very good family vacation. The house is spacious and comfortable. The elevator is a bonus given our family dog has arthritis ( we aren't getting any younger.) There is a fenced in yard, although the putting greens depicted in photos were not all set up the week we were there. The walk to the beach is not long, although the path is loose sand and it gets hot on the paws. We loved the view and amenities and would recommend this house for folks looking for a more modern, clean and spacious rental. There are walkable restaurants with live music, which we really enjoyed. And Surf City Beach continues to be one of our family favorites due to the low key and kid friendly vibe.
